Life is full of opportunities. They often come to us disguised as problems, too. The classic example would be addicts hitting their bottom. Your life is a shambles. You’ve pushed everyone away. Perhaps lost your job, or got in trouble with creditors and/or the law. But – you do have options for how you’ll process issues that on the surface don’t seem all that positive. When I hit bottom, I wasn’t even sure I wanted to live at all anymore. What an opportunity! I know what that pain, that despair, that anxiety feels like. I know I never want to feel that way again. Life gave me the people I needed to meet when I needed to meet them. I needed to start seeing the light instead of continuing to wallow in the darkness. It took time and effort to get here, but today? Today I truly believe that everything always works out for me. Whenever I’m blindsided by something that on the surface looks and feels terrible, my subconscious mind immediately and loudly says this to me: “this looks bad on the surface, but everything always works out for me – so there’s something incredible ahead that wouldn’t be able to happen without having to endure this first”. I’m not sure exactly when I started to think like this, but it was a while ago, and now? The results are incredible. How fast they come. How insanely crazy the path gets laid out that totally exceeds my own expectations. There are a lot of things going on behind the scenes in my life right now that I can’t discuss publicly yet, but oh my God… it’s all good. Really good. And none of it would have been possible without news that, on the surface – originally looked bad. What a ride. So, if you’re the type of person who gets bad news and thinks “nothing ever works out for me. This is typical. One step forward, two steps back”, etc… well, that’s what you’ll see. We see what we believe. Funny thing is – we can also control what we believe as well. Why live thinking the glass is half empty?… the glass is overflowing. There is water everywhere. Every disappointment brings the seeds of an equal or greater achievement. I’ve lived my life both ways. And now, I firmly believe that everything always works out for me… so it does. It’s incredible. Try it for yourself. You can’t just say the words, though – because if you say those words, but inside you’re thinking “this is bullshit – nothing ever works out for me”, it won’t work. You’ll only see it once you truly believe it. Every day we have opportunities presented to us. Surrender to the possibilities. Use your intuition. Spend time in prayer and meditation. Get to know the part of yourself that sits behind your mind watching. The more you’re in touch with your soul, with God, with the Universe – the easier it becomes to move forward with love and gratitude for the ride we’re on, no matter what life throws at us. And when it gives you a gut punch, remember – everything always works out for you. Something incredible is on the horizon. How exciting! You’ll see it when you believe it…
